COMPOSTING OF WET WASTE
Wet waste Solutions
Composting is decomposition of organic matter such as food waste, plant materials biologically by aerobic (in presence of oxygen) or anaerobic (in absence of oxygen) microorganisms under controlled conditions. The process converts the wet waste into simpler end products which are odour free. This results in stabilized end product which is generally termed as compost, humus, manure, etc., Compost can be used as soil conditioner, increasing the organic carbon in the soil. Compost replaces the need for chemical fertilizers, thus reducing carbon footprint.
We at Nisarga have developed an Aerobic composting technology that can compost wet waste in 35-50 days. This technology can be applied for individual households as well as bulk generators.
Our Technology has been approved by the National Green Tribunal – SLC for “Technology for Processing of Wetwaste for Bulk Generations and Households”
